Practice Your Pitch Workshop
March 10, 2021
11:00 AM-12:00 PM ET
Presented by the WBEC-East NextGen Committee

More Information

Your pitch is your business’ introduction. It’s the first impression on a potential client. You are always the first & best representation of your business, and your pitch is how you refine that. But telling a compelling story and drawing your audience in? There aren’t always great opportunities to practice that. But that’s exactly what this event is for.

In this interactive workshop you’ll hear sample pitches from WBEs who have found success in pitching contests, then we will break out into small groups to practice pitching and get feedback from each other. Plus we will have a corporate supplier diversity professional present to share thoughts on what corporates look for in a successful pitch.

This event is intended for certified WBEs who have a 60-second pitch written and are looking for practice and feedback in a non-judgemental atmosphere. But the event is also open to people whose business is not yet registered as a WBE. In fact, the NextGen committee is focused on growing the number of certified women-owned businesses.

To ensure everyone has a chance to pitch, this event is limited to a small group of established women-owned businesses.
