Nick McCullough is a gardener. He’s been a gardener for most of his professional life. Not to mention his favorite past time is gardening. Furthermore, gardening is how he spends time with his wife Allison and their children as well. You get the point. The guy is synonymous with gardening all over the world. There is a huge market for his work, too.

As a matter of fact, Nick has over 4,000,000 followers on Pinterest! Nick was invited to be the “guest gardener” at the Philadelphia Flower Show, 2019. McCulloughs needed a way to capture their time at the flower show to commemorate it. So we hooked it up!

The theme of the 2019 Philadelphia Flower Show was “Flower Power.” In light of that, Nick chose to take inspiration from Jimi Hendrix’s cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower.” The installation of beautiful wild flowers included (2) wooden towers overlooking a reflecting pool. Mirrors lined the interior together with a chopped wood border lined the exterior. We were contracted to capture the beauty & grace of this moment.

What We Did

Video Production & Photography

Nick truly comes alive when he’s in his element – the natural environment of plants & flowers.

We centered our video production around the idea that the watchtowers were a metaphor. They represent Nick and his wife Allison’s love & protection for their family. The reflecting pool is a focus because it represents their life together. It blends their professional & personal worlds. Nick and Allison are business partners and they’re married. Of course, that’s something we know a lot about too!
