Logline: A misanthrope fights for his life against evil corporations.
Synopsis: After being forced out of work by an extortion racket on Wall Street, a laborer in the film industry is beaten nearly to death before finding ways to get even. He thinks he is doing good, helping his fellow workers, but all of them still keep him out – yelling SCAB! It eventually causes Scab to lash out violently, which was the plan all along – just not his plan.
It stands against reason, to call a person who opposes a union’s actions a “scab” when a scab is actually required in the healing process for a body which is injured. This film is meant to stir up controversy, and more importantly – the right kinds of conversations – around labor movements in America. Because at this point, we all feel like our flesh is getting ripped off.
Scab thinks he’s here to help. But is he?
